Karen Lynch BSc. (Econ); MSc (Econ); MSc. (Pet.Mgt), UWI St. Augustine


Ms. Lynch has over twenty years’ experience in quantitative and qualitative research, the management of large surveys, the development of quantitative market research approaches, techniques, sales strategies, design of instruments for qualitative analysis and the development and analysis of market surveys and other research projects. She has worked on projects spanning the public and private sector and across a diverse range of industries including small business development, economic, trade and energy policy. Furthermore, she has been involved in project management, energy sector planning, project management, benchmarking exercises and commercial intelligence data gathering. Her vision is to create a space for research and innovation for the next generation of young professionals.

Christopher Clarke BSc. Econ; MSc. Econ (UWI); MSc. (Kent) Computer Science


Mr. Clarke’s background is in Statistics and the development of Statistical information systems, market data systems, computational finance and forecasting, web based solutions ,Python, Django, PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQLServer, Linux training and consultancy (RedHat Enterprise, Debian Ubuntu), team leadership, project planning and management. He has worked as a consultant with several international companies. He has over twenty years’ experience in data and statistical analysis. He is also involved in the development of a number of innovative web-based solutions covering areas such as index generation and reporting, interest rate forecasting, composite leading indicators, market-data acquisition, analytics and charting and mutual funds analysis and charting. 

Sharlene Gittens-Francis BSc. (Econ.), MBA in International in Marketing and Finance, PMP 


Mrs. Gittens-Francis has been involved in market research and business development for the past thirteen years and has worked with both public and private sector clients. She has experience with socio economic needs assessment projects from the instrument design to the delivery phase of the engagement. Her skills include survey development and management, data analysis, report preparation and presentation delivery. 

Zahra Thompson BSc. Mechanical Engineering, UWI St. Augustine, PMP


Zahra Thompson’s local and regional career experience spans research, data collection, branding, marketing, advertising, and project management. She is PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Nebosh National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Her experience includes Project Management in an Engineering and Industrial environment. She has management experience in a branding environment and this has enhanced her return to the research environment. She has commissioned various regional research projects in Suriname, Belize and Grenada. Locally, she has led multi-disciplined project teams and enjoys problem solving. Her current goal is to introduce innovation and technology to the current research landscape.

Tiffany St. John BSc. Social Work, UWI St. Augustine


Tiffany , Operations Co-ordinator has had administrative experience in the public and private sectors as well as practical exposure to Social Work. As part of her duties at Sacoda, she has facilitated local and regional training workshops, focus groups and depth interviews.  She is responsible for the administration and client services management of Sacoda Serv Limited, providing that crucial link between the organisation and its clients. Her duties include quality management and audit for the training, field research and report preparation exercises of the company.  Her stimulus is to always make tomorrow better than today thereby ensuring that Sacoda is at the vanguard of research in the Caribbean region.

Jvrena Whitehall BSc. International Relations, UWI St. Augustine


Jvrena’s career includes experience in research and protocol in the State and Financial sectors. She is the Operations Officer and her duties include training of enumerators, project management, socio-economic research, data analysis and report preparation.  Her personal credo to “be better and not settle” shapes her outlook as a dedicated team member with an eye for detail in the delivery of final products. Every situation is a learning experience and this viewpoint as well as her goal for holistic development and to become her best self allows her to continually strive for excellence in all aspects of her duties. 

Elijah Pierre BSc. Economics and Management, UWI St. Augustine


Elijah joins Sacoda with experience in the public sector which exposed him to research and reporting activities. His duties include economic and social media research, training of enumerators, logistics planning and data collection execution. He is also involved in the business development function which is compatible with his enjoyment for meeting people and developing new relationships. He is motivated by his goal of becoming an integral part of an organisation’s management and decision making process. Elijah demonstrates efficiency and competence in executing the operations functions with which he is tasked.
